We offer a range of products and services, which range from landscape design and consultation to ready planted veggie crates. We service Melbourne and the Yarra Valley.
At Sprout Designs, we have a passion for produce gardening, sustainability and, most importantly, good design. Your garden should be cherished and enjoyed and we want to help you achieve that outcome.
Having completed a Diploma in Sustainable Landscape Design at Swinburne University in 2013, Colette is now a qualified landscape designer with a passion for functionality, sustainability and produce gardening. During her studies, Colette, along with fellow class mates and principal designer, Matt Lane, was able to participate in the 2013 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. The design and build was completed for the Victorian Schools’ Gardens Awards – and was awarded a Silver medal in the Outdoor Feature category.
In February 2014, Sprout Designs created and wrote a Autumn and Winter planting guide for temperate climates. Tired of hard to find information and standard design, Colette enlisted Madeleine Baud to design and illustrate a informative and easy to follow planting guide. I would love to hear your feedback and already look forward to creating one for Spring and Summer.
OUR PRODUCTS
Seasonal Stock Replenishing
For a flat fee Sprout Designs can come to your house and replenish your seedling stock each growing season. We understand that everyone can be hard up for time to do this. We will happily consult with you on what you would like to grow, and will use our knowledge and expertise to see what is best suited for you. All seedling stock are grown organically and are of the highest quality.
What is included:
- Hand picked seasonal seedling stock;
- Maintenance schedule;
- Compost; and
- Mulch top up.
The Mid Dig – $95
The Big Dig – $120
The Mid Dig
The Mid Dig is custom designed for smaller gardens and courtyards. It offers all the benefits of The Big Dig, but is half the size. Please fill in the contact form below to enquire about having your own!

- Set up for you with seasonal produce, organic veggie mix and pea straw mulch;
- Maintenance schedule included; and
- Castor wheels optional extra at $65
